Your first visit at Brown Chiropractic is designed to be a beneficial and
stress-free experience. The goal is to obtain the required information about
your specific case as efficiently as possible.

You will complete all required forms (if you haven't completed them prior to
your first appointment) and Dr. Brown will take a complete history regarding
your past and present health condition.

The chiropractor will then perform a thorough examination and take X-rays
if necessary.

Although X-rays are frequently required of most new patients, at Brown
Chiropractic we cannot and will not take X-rays unless they are clinically
necessary.

In most cases new patients will be asked to schedule a 2nd visit, usually the
following day, and then be released for the day.

This is determined on a case by case basis. As a Doctor of Chiropractic it is
Dr. Brown's duty to provide the best chiropractic care possible. As a result, in
most cases Dr. Brown will take the time to conduct a detailed analysis of
each new patient's case. Combining information obtained from the history,
general examination, chiropractic exam, and X-rays is a time consuming
process. Therefore, most patients are actually adjusted for the first time on
the second visit to our office.

In rare instances Dr. Brown reserves the right to adjust a new patient on the
first visit if he feels it is clinically indicated and is in the best interest of the
patient.

On your second visit your chiropractor will present to you a brief report of his
findings obtained from your exam and X-rays. He will give his
recommendations for type and frequency of care. There is no cost for this
report/consultation. You may be shown a brief video explaining Chiropractic
care. Dr. Brown will also discuss financial obligations and answer any
questions you may have at this time. Then, after obtaining your consent, Dr.
Brown will begin your treatment plan and your journey to optimum health!
